Where do I go to apply for a Veteran's Exemption?

Answer

Your Military Service Discharge papers (DD-214) must be filed with the Town Clerk's Office by September 30th for the next Grand List/tax year.

Details

Once filed, you may apply for a Veteran's Exemption by going to the Assessor's Office. The application must be filed by October 1st for the next tax year. You will need to bring documented proof of income in order to apply. Please contact the Assessor's Office at 860-828-7105 for more information.
