January 2020 Monthly Update

Happy New Year from the Berlin VNA.  Beginning this year we would like to provide community residents and all followers of our web site a regular update from the VNA on what is new and what our status is related to our home healthcare services.  These updates should be approximately on a monthly basis and as always we welcome phone calls to the agency regarding any questions or concerns you may have regarding current services or setting up services for yourself or family members.  There has been some inaccurate information circulating regarding the agency and we want to be sure that residents, patients, and family members are getting correct information from the appropriate source.

Currently the VNA has been quite busy following a somewhat quiet holiday break when new patient referrals are historically less.  We are now back to a significant amount of new referrals and our patient census is once again climbing.  All of our staff are busy and we are staffed to provide all services as needed.  Medicare has gone through some changes that were effective 1/1/2020 which had us transitioning some of our processes.  We have completed those process changes and I am confident that we will move forward in the new year and continue to provide personal, consistent care to all of our patients and families.  We pride ourselves in excellent care provided by a very skilled and compassionate team of clinicians.  We will also continue to provide educational and informational opportunities in Berlin and the surrounding communities to which all are welcome.  Please view our website regularly for updated schedules of our presentations as well as our Facebook page.
