Berlin Veterans Digital Wall of Honor

The Berlin Veterans Commission has a “Veterans Digital Wall of Honor” in the Main Lobby Rotunda of the Berlin Town Hall. The video slideshow is shown on a 50” Smart TV and plays in a loop every day the Town Hall is open. Veterans Wall of Honor

The Wall of Honor is Dedicated to All Who Proudly Served and Sacrificed to Protect Our Country for the FREEDOMS we have TODAY.

Every Berlin Resident and their Immediate Family Members, past and present who have served or is currently serving in the military - Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, & Reserve, can be put up on the wall. Only one family member needs to be living in or has lived in Berlin.

We put all family members grouped together from the earliest to the latest time of service. (WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.)

The commission is looking for Berlin residents to provide photos, military history and/or DD 214 (Release from Active Duty) of any family member, past or present, who has served or is currently serving in the military, so we can honor them on the wall.

We would like to have 1 or 2 photos, Full Name, Dates and Branch of Service, Rank, MOS (What they did in the Service) and possible conflicts or where they have served.

If you have photos and military history that need to be scanned, they can be left, in an envelope, at the Berlin Town Manager’s Office, along with your contact information. If they are scanned, e-mail them directly to Peter Galgano at petergalgano@comcast.net. or call 860-604-7258.
